Flinders Hydrotherapy Pool

Flinders Medical Centre

Flinders Medical Centre
Hydrotherapy Pool – Adelaide, South Australia

The South Australian State Government invested $185.5 million to improve and upgrade facilities at Flinders Medical Centre in 2016, which included the Hydrilla team (then State Wide Pool Services), being selected once again as the preferred pool builder for the centre’s second state of the art Hydrotherapy Pool.

The 21m x 9m hydrotherapy pool provides an important resource for patients managing chronic health conditions and supports rehabilitation for both inpatients and outpatients. The depth of the pool varies from 1.1m at the foot of the entry stairs to 1.7m at the opposite end. Flush wet deck grating envelopes the perimeter of the pool, creating a striking change from the concourse paving.
