Mortlake Swimming Pool – Redevelopment

In 2017 we were successful in winning the tender to upgrade and rejuvenate the existing 50m pool. Works included converting the pool from a scum gutter to a modern wet deck, giving the pool an updated reticulation system, and improving the water quality overall. To achieve this, partial demolition of the existing pool structure was required and included saw cutting and removal of the existing external concourse. Due to the age of the pool, some alterations and upgrades were necessary for the perimeter pipework of the pool.

A commercial-grade PVC liner, and paving to the new reinforced concourse were completed along with the installation of new stainless steel fittings (step handrails, access ladders, and lane rope anchors). Overall, the Mortlake pool renovation provided a brand-new look and feel to a much-valued community asset.
