Seriously degraded gravity filters were causing risks to the facility and its patrons that could not be overlooked by Council. Our cost-effective solution involved making use of 2 x Chadson pressure filters which the council already possessed but which were currently not being used. These filters were sound and with a little attention and ingenuity, we were able to renovate the filters with new parts to ensure they were fit for purpose and suitable for use in a commercial aquatics environment

Our scope of work included installing the upgraded filters on a concrete plinth at the rear of the existing plant room, and adjusting pipework and other elements as necessary. The new filters were enclosed in a chain mesh fence for safety and commissioned in November 2016.
