Hydrilla, (then State Wide Pool Services Australia) completed the Central Adelaide Apartments sky pool in 2017. The apartment pool’s red skylight and the unequalled view are a draw card for the mixed-use apartment complex. The fully tiled, formed (box) and poured concrete structure is a 3.4-meter wide, 15-meter long lap pool with a constant depth of 1.2 meters. The glass balustrade gives the illusion of an infinity edge, with the required safety for bathers.

We collaborated with Watpac Construction to design and construct this stunning pool structure and water treatment system for the pool. Our design produces high-quality filtered and sanitized water with a minimal footprint and low energy costs.
