Aura Retirement Village | Water Features
Findon – South Australia

Sophisticated retirement living is what AURA Retirement Village offers, and the exteriors are as grand as the interiors. To compliment the fine dining restaurants, day spa, library and health and wellness facilities, the manicured landscaping and shared spaces has to match. Hydrilla partnered with Jurkovic Group to add blue space in the form of 3 ponds complete with lights and dancing fountains to create luxury ambience to the community courtyard.

Creating the water features at AURA was the first opportunity Hydrilla has had to be part of not only the construction but also the design of ponds, jets and lights. We put over 3 decades of hydraulic design and construction experience to the test by selecting filters and pumps which would best suit the project.

This project at AURA was also the most electrically challenging project we have ever complete. From programming the Fontana lights and dancing fountains to respond to the wind sensor, to the ability for them to be choreographed for different holidays, the custom-built control board is a work of art.

Hydrilla are proud to support AURA with ongoing preventative maintenance and servicing of the water features and lights, ensuring all of the infrastructure works safely and within its limits to create the Las Vegas appeal.
