Hamley Bridge is a small town around 80km north of Adelaide in South Australia. In late 2020 Hydrilla won the contract to perform an upgrade on the pool. This upgrade would ensure its ongoing viability for the community. Works commenced with the demolition of the concourse allowing for new reticulation systems to be installed for the 25-meter Main pool and Toddler’s pool. Plant room works included, the installation of a new pump, strainer and electrical control board. An ultra-fine filtration system was installed for the main pool while a sand filter was installed for the Toddler’s pool.

The remainder of the work on-site focused on the removal of the existing paintwork including in the Toddler’s pool, using a combination of sandblasting and grinding.
