Our commitment to community accessibility and innovative technology are evident in the exemplary renovation and refurbishment of the Newman Aquatic Centre.

Servicing an area of approximately 6500kms, the Newman Aquatic Centre is one of the most popular facilities. Having undergone multiple rejuvenations through out its life, the 50m swimming pool recently suffered vandalism in multiple locations that ultimately required a total vinyl liner replacement.

The installation of a heat pump in a location that regularly reaches 38 degrees Celsius was crucial to extending the swimming season.

2023 Swimming Pool and Spa Association Award Results

Hydrilla entered Newman Aquatic Centre into the 2023 Swimming Pool and Spa Association Awards for Excellence. The work was recognised by industry peers and achieved:

• Gold Winner –  Commercial Renovation – Western Australia
• Finalist – Commercial Renovation – National
